I, uh, have a problem. I'm running the most recent version of Firefox on my computer, and I've lost all my bookmarks. A few weeks ago, I lost the first half of them-- they just disappeared from my computer. Today, I logged on and the rest of them are gone, including my toolbar bookmarks.
I've checked the .bak file for my bookmarks-- it was affected, too, nothing there. Even the default bookmarks aren't there; it's completely empty.
If it isn't too much trouble, could someone tell me how to get my bookmarks back? Or, at the very least, help me prevent this from happening again?
Your help is very much appreciated, thank you! |

I need your help. I apologize if this is the wrong place. I looked for a "Thunderbird" Community and couldn't find one worth posting in.
I have mozilla Thunderbird as my email client. I wanted to do an uninstall/reinstall of it, but it's not working. I go to the add/remove programs thinking all I have to do is delete Thunderbird, so I do it. I then reinstall t-bird and all my contacts and settings are still in there, almost like it has been removed. What am I doing wrong? Is there another step I need to do to completely uninstall? |

Hello all! I has a question for you! I was wondering if FF has a word processor sort of addon. Specifically I'm looking for something like Netscape's Composer only, you know, without the Netscape part. xD I used to use that to write, but since switching to FF I've just been using notepad (which bites, I don't like using it for normal writing, only web coding) and Word takes too long to load for me (I'm impatient, what can I say). Is there anything like that out there? |

I've got Thunderbird installed, and my remote mail server uses an SSL certificate.
The trouble is the domain name on the SSL cert is for the hosting provider, and the address I'm connecting to is my personal domain - so the certificate does not match, and generates an error every time I try to send an email. I hit OK on the error and the message continues sending normally.
I'd like to permanently turn off this notification and accept the certificate - does anyone know how? |
